Firelight spills from windows as inside of a small home a family prepares to celebrate a local holiday honoring the coming of winter. But as night settles over the region it brings with it a terrible blizzard and a stalking beast. The family’s only hope is to rely on their visitors, a group of adventurers staying with them to protect them as the house becomes encased in ice and snow while a folkloric beast threatens to break down the door. Snowed in is a 3rd level adventure for a party of 3-4 adventurers. This adventure takes place in a single house and pits adventurers against a creature that is desperately trying to claw its way in. Fight off waves of frost, and share in a game of songs and rhymes with the glowering spirit of winter as it attempts to take your lives on this most festive of nights. Don’t let it in.

This adventure takes 1 and a half to 3 hours to complete. A device for keeping track of timed events is recommended. This adventure includes:

• Three plot hooks to help integrate the one shot into a preexisting narrative.

• A game of words and rhymes that pits characters against a folkloric beast in a different kind of challenge.

• Details on the winter deity honored through the celebration of the holiday centric to the adventure.
