This deep dive explores the various possible origins of the Springtide Courtesans from the result of fiends and dryads mingling, to the tortured creations of night hags, or perhaps even fey who devoted themselves to demon lords and thus tainted their blood line.
It includes the statblock for the Springtide Courtesan which has many abilities reminiscent of incubi/succubi & fey allowing them to shapeshift into humanoids, charm any they meet, and makes them masters of subterfuge & misdirection while also being quite fearsome in combat. They are best used in social games as background manipulators, or as lackeys for more powerful villains.
This deep dive also includes a few objects that can be created from the body of Springtide Courtesans and the horrid trophies they take from their victims. This includes a cursed blade & a perfume derived from the brimstone sap that flows through their veins.
