A clinic that was operational but a few days ago has had its windows boarded up and its front door chained shut. There are no signs of any of the poor souls undergoing treatment there, and those who glimpsed through the windows see nothing but bloodied stains and torn apart bedding. Whatever has happened here, the hermetic surgeon who was caring for the ailing has all but disappeared.

Apothecarium is a 2nd level adventure for three to five players. Taking between 2 and 3 hours to complete, this adventure takes players through a recently barricaded clinic. Adventurers brave enough to venture forth will unravel the depraved actions of a broken-minded “physician” and what remains of those who trusted him. The hermetic surgeon has much to answer for. Apothecarium is perfect for introducing players to the concept of uncovering narrative elements through exploration of their environment.

This adventure includes:

*Three plot hooks to help integrate the one shot into a preexisting narrative.

*A map of the three floors of the Apothecarium Clinic with a grid and furnishing.

*Encounters with the results of disgusting experiments, shambling about the clinic.

*The ramblings of the mad doctor and his full confession; used to bolster role playing in the denouement of the adventure.
